Manny Pacquiao defied age and expectation on Saturday night, but even a heroic performance from the 46-year-old was not enough to unseat Mario Barrios, who clung to his WBC welterweight title via a controversial majority draw.

Barrios was tentative and let Pacquiao get off first in exchanges and finish many rounds with a flourish to try to impress the judges.
